How they are multiplying good: Natalie works with the web show, Alone Together Pittsburgh, and created a segment called #FiveMinutesWith... In this program, she interviews interesting Pittsburghers who are doing inspiring work. She began #FiveMinutesWith as a way to recognize those who are activating for the betterment of us all while centering conversations around marginalized communities who are often neglected and who have much to say. She has given a voice to individuals who are working in Pittsburgh during Covid-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement. Her ability to connect and examine issues in five minutes highlights the best that is being done in our city during these trying times. Her program has presented the diversity of opinions that exist in our city as well as providing a platform for the exchange of ideas and possible solutions for the issues that have been exposed during the Covid-19 pandemic. Her insightful conversations have brought unheard stories into the limelight. She is a journalist, media personality and licensed social worker with a passion for creating transformative conversations that ignite real and tangible change. By amplifying diverse voices, Natalie works to use her platform in a way that centers the best parts in all of us regardless of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or class. The goal has always been to focus on the ways in which our lives intersect through a lens of empathy and justice. By holding space for our humanity, she hopes to share stories that inspire, educate and activate us all to create a better world for everyone.
