Making a difference in their community, and on a national and global scale. Founders Isabella, Aria Capelli, and Carolyn Considine’s goal for MT is to engage disadvantaged children, teens and adults in order to break the cycle of deprivation. Through individualized one to one tutoring, on a Zoom platform, literacy skills are taught while building bonds so pupils feel supported in order to convey the importance of believing in themselves for anything is possible. In 2 months, 7 nonprofit projects, www.meaningfulteens.org were developed, increasing student competency, boosting their self-esteem, and stimulating the love for learning giving teachers a stronger base to start the school year. Moreover, tutors found a way, during the Covid pandemic, to give back to others sparking a willingness to continue to help the underprivileged as they follow their academic journey
