Where she is multiplying good: Troy, MI
How she is multiplying good: Danielle is One in a million! Danielle is a Native teen founder, author, and inventor who has been educating children since she was ten. She educates kids, especially girls and minorities, in lower socioeconomic brackets on technical skills through affordable robotics, leading to youth empowerment. She started The STEAM Connection to serve kids through robots, curriculum, classes, and books. Danielle noticed that issues on technical educational accessibility posed huge problems for the children of her community as it directly affects their future pursuits. She created simple, versatile, and scalable options. She is proudest of EKGAR, her $18.95 robotics kit. EKGAR is sent to kids for free and teaches technical skills in a project-based way. From mentoring 35 robotics teams to being in 50+ media features to keynoting in front of thousands, Danielle is a force to be reckoned with. She’s brought her robots to 4,000+ kids, her books to 15,000+, and directly reach thousands of individual children through classes.
