How she’s multiplying good: She is One in a Million. In May of 2019, I founded a group named Simply Neuroscience, which has now grown into an international, student-run organization. Simply Neuroscience works to foster interdisciplinary neuroscience through education, outreach, and awareness. I founded this platform after realizing a collaborative community of young students who shared a love for learning about the brain--but didn't necessarily all come from the same educational background such as biology, technology, philosophy, etc.--did not exist.
Now, with a team of 260+ volunteer staff members, Simply Neuroscience has created over 500,000 impressions worldwide and impacted thousands of students from over 42 different countries. Simply Neuroscience has over 20 different initiatives, ranging from Brain Resource Creation and "The Synapse" podcast to Humans of Neuroscience and Awareness. Overall, we are working to support every student in their individual "brain" journey by equipping them with resources and knowledge along the way!
